Maximise autumn grass-weed control

We have produced a series of seasonal updates on controlling key grass-weeds this autumn. Whether your main problem is black-grass, brome, rye-grass or annual meadow-grass, you will find sound advice on what to do to maximise your grass-weed control. Some key points to remember no matter what grass-weed you are targeting are:

  • Use as many cultural methods as possible to reduce grass-weed numbers prior to crop establishment
  • Know you grass-weed spectrum and resistance
  • Use Liberator as a ‘true’ pre-emergence herbicide and apply within 48 hours of drilling (Don’t be tempted to wait for moisture to be present before spraying)
