Product Profile

For brome, complex grass weed and broad-leaved weed situations

Pacifica is the most effective spring herbicide available for the control of mixed grasses and broad-leaved weeds in winter wheat. Used appropriately Pacifica can provide a real solution for complex weed situations, enabling wheat profits to be maintained and weed seed return minimised. Pacifica controls a wide range of grass weeds and broad-leaved weeds.

Weed spectrum

Pacifica controls a wide range of grass and broad-leaved weeds.  For most grass and all broad-leaved weed situations Pacifica is recommended at 400 g/ha. The following label weeds are susceptible to Pacifica:

 Post-emergence susceptibility of weed at 400 g/ha
 Black-grass to GS29 (resistant populations)
 to GS39 (susceptible populations)
 Wild-oats to GS39
 Anual meadow grass to GS31
 Rough-stalked meadow-grass to GS31
Perennial rye-grass (from seed) to GS32
Italian rye-grass (from seed) to GS32
Sterile brome Moderately resistant to GS33
Great brome Moderately resistant to GS33
Rye brome Moderately resistant to GS30
Common Chickweed to Branching Stage (10cm across/ high)
Mayweeds to Branching Stage (10cm across/ high)
Charlock to GS16 (6 expanded true leaves)
Volunteer oilseed rape to GS16 (6 expanded true leaves)

Pacifica is recommended at 500 g/ha where brome is the overwhelming constituent of the weed spectrum.
