Adjuvant use with Atlantis WG

Atlantis WG acts primarily via uptake by the leaves of susceptible weeds. As for other foliar acting herbicides the use of an adjuvant increases uptake of the herbicide by leaves. This increased uptake not only enhances the rainfastness of Atlantis WG but also increases the reliability of the performance of Atlantis WG under the wide range of environmental conditions experienced during the autumn / winter period.

The use of an adjuvant is essential to ensure that optimal levels of weed control are achieved with Atlantis. Atlantis WG should never be used without an adjuvant.

Trials conducted by Bayer CropScience have demonstrated that the adjuvant biopower consistently outperforms other adjuvants in increasing the efficacy of Atlantis WG and in enhancing consistency of performance from season to season. These trials have also shown that the use of some adjuvants can be detrimental to the efficacy of Atlantis WG.

In order to ensure optimal efficacy and consistency of Atlantis WG the only adjuvant recommended for use with Atlantis WG is biopower.

biopower, a very efficient adjuvant developed speciifically for use with Atlantis WG, should ALWAYS be used. Through extensive field testing, biopower has been shown to be more consistent than other adjuvants in enhancing the efficacy of Atlantis WG.

Use biopower at 1 L/ha in order to maximise the efficacy and rainfastness of Atlantis WG.

ALWAYS add biopower to the spray-tank last. Switch off the induction bowl immediately after adding biopower since this can introduce air into the spray-tank and result in excessive foaming.
