Key Use Summary

  • Fungicide Seed Treatment for winter oilseed rape
  • Seed treatment fungicide to protect against damping off diseases, seed-borne Phoma and Alternaria
  • Widest spectrum of disease control in a single product
  • Use with Chinook for optimum crop establishment and early crop vigour
     

Damping off complex

  • A complex of soil borne diseases
    • Rhizoctonia
    • Phoma lingam
    • Alternaria spp
    • Pythium
  • Causes seed and seedling rots
  • Seed emergence is prevented or if successful, young seedling soon wilts and dies

Additional disease activity

  • In limited trials HY-PRO Duet has given excellent control of seed-borne Alternaria (below)

  • Initial tests also show a delay in the development of Phoma symptoms on the cotyledons

Environmental Information

  • Convenient packaging with closed transfer and no waste issues
  • To protect birds/wild animals, treated seed should not be left on the soil surface
