In addition to this, there are a number of viral and fungal diseases that are also damaging bee colonies throughout the UK
Some people have expressed concern about the potential for insecticides to have an effect on bee health. Although many would think of Bayer as a company that produces insecticides, we have also been involved in providing solutions for bee health problems such as Varroa for over 25 years
Nevertheless, it is incumbent on all users of insecticides to “bee responsible”, and Bayer CropScience has issued stewardship guidelines to promote best practice when using our insecticides. Click here to find out more.
