In rust-susceptible varieties, we recommend that you use Galmano to provide early rust control during the over-wintering phase. Using Galmano will increase the effectiveness of following treatments for rust control.
Quality of application is crucial to making sure that you get the best out of Galmano. Using a Bayer CropScience approved treater will ensure that you receive the maximum benefit from your investment in the product.
To maximise the effect of Galmano on sown crops, use after mid-October.
When using Galmano on rust-susceptible varieties, it should be followed with a normal programme of foliar fungicides.
Galmano should be used with a following programme of foliar fungicide treatments including products with robust control of Septoria such as Aviator235 Xpro (bixafen and prothioconazole).
When using Galmano for the treatment of take-all, the crop will benefit from active treatment in the early spring from a product such as Fandango (prothioconazole and fluoxastrobin).
