With its broad spectrum disease control prothioconazole has become the cornerstone of barley disease control programmes, firstly when partnered with fluoxastrobin in Fandango and launched in 2011 partnered with bixafen and the Leafshield formulation system in Siltra_Xpro.

The introduction of Siltra_Xpro gave barley growers the choice with their crops, some crops were already reaching their full potential with Fandango however others, those grown in higher potential situations, could achieve more with Siltra_Xpro
